The visit will be organised to compressor station Kidričevo which is operated by company Plinovodi d.o.o. as Slovenian natural gas transmission system operator. Compressor station Kidričevo was commissioned in year 2001 and enlarged in year 2014. It consists of three turbomachinery units (gas turbine and centrifugal compressor) with all necessary support systems. Fully automated operation by one or two centrifugal compressors in parallel is possible, the remote control of operation is conducted from the companies Dispatching centre located in Ljubljana.

* Compressor Station Kidricevo is located in Slovenia, which is in the Schengen border area. All participants must have valid travel documents which must be presented at the authorities at the border crossing between Croatia and Slovenia in order to be able to enter the Schengen area and to return to Croatia.

This tour will visit The Krško Nuclear Power plant in Slovenia. Krško NPP is located on the left bank of the Sava River, 40 km away from Zagreb and 80 km from the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. The plan has been in commercial operation since 1983.
It is equipped with the Westinghouse pressurised water reactor with the electrical power of 696 MW and average annual electricity generation of 5 TWh. Half of the generated electricity is delivered to Croatian consumers and another half to Slovenian. Visitors will get into the main control room and turbine building and get some basic insight into the operation of this unique nuclear joint venture project. Hrvatska elektroprivreda and Slovenian company Gen energija have 50% of share each.
